ENRIC MESTRE, artista de excelente formacion academica y que ha
expuesto su obra en numerosos paises, lleva toda una vida en su
estudio en medio de la huerta de Alboraya (Valencia), dedicandose
a la ceramica. A traves de las indicaciones del propio artista,
este documental sigue y desentraoa todo el proceso creativo; desde
los bocetos iniciales influenciados por su entorno, la consruccion
y elaboracion de la pieza, hasta la coccion final con el gran
reto que supone el fuego.
Enric Mestre, an artist with an excellent academic background
whose work is exhibited all around the world, has lived all his
life in his studio in the middle of the Alboraian countryside
(Valencia Spain) dedicated to ceramic art. Through the guidance
of the artist himself, this documentary follows and demonstrates
the year long creative process, from the initial sketches influenced
by his surroundings through the construction and elaboration of
the piece until the final firing and the great challenge entailed
in it. This documentary has been filmed in 16mm film in order
to capture with the best possible definition and colour rendering
the textures and colours present in the ceramic process.
